Livio De Marchi is known for his work with wood where he mimics the world into wooden sculptures. He has the touch of Midas. But here he uses wood instead of Gold. He has been doing this from very young age. This Italian artist is a talented man as well. His skills are spread in marble, bronze etc before turning to wooden ones.
He uses chasel and hammers to do his sculptures. He carves softest of objects. They are shapped into replicas made of wood. He does it for anything from basket to teddy bears to a cushy leather chair. He is famous for his house of books where everything is made of wood he does not believe in painting because he enjoys the beauty of nature. He is the only man in venice who can do this.
