Venice Colorful Pigeons

At first glimpse of these pigeons you will surely rub your eyes once or twice in order to believe are they real? They actually are in Venice, Italy.

Julius von Bismarck and Julian Charriere based in Berlin painted the feathers of the pigeons to change the perception of pigeons being ‘the rats of the sky’, without harming the pigeons in any sense. It was done for the sake of a project entitled  “Some pigeons are more equal than others”. Here are some photographs of the project.
