“Constellation”, thread and nail portraits by Kumi Yamashita. Yamashita is known for such creations that will play with your mind. This New York based artist recently created amazing thread and nail portraits by just using three basic items – nails, a wooden block and a single piece of thread.

Even with these basic items Yamashita managed to present most of the expressions a person would have in a particular situation just like the kid smiling in one portrait.
