Recently, a dark prison of Netherlands was transformed into a modern day luxury hotel. I am speaking about the Het Arresthuis which is a 19th-century-jail. The jail was re-purposed and redesigned completely using chic, spacious, modern equipment but at the same time past heritage of this place was maintained. However, the new task of the facility is to entertain the guests in the deluxe and comfortable suites and provide them with aminities like sauna and fitness gym.

The jail had 150 cells to hold criminals. Now they have been transformed into 36 rooms including 7 suites. There are four special ones titled “The Director”, “The Jailer”, “The Lawyer” and “The Judge”. All the rooms have similar things to offer. But the suites give you double bed, rain shower, air condition with flat big screen tv and more. The Four suites are in the Wardens’ area of the facility and at the sports complex.

Additionally, the facility holds a bar and a restaurant. The architects have given it a humorous outlook and the menu of the place ensures that the visitors get more than just water and bread as refreshments.
