The Most recent project of OeO is the “Ki-Oke Stool”. OeO is a Danish design studio and they have jointly crafted the stool with Shuji Nakagawa. This craft features the tradition of Kyoto wood-crafting and is mixed with western touch when it comes to sensibilities. They did it for Japan Homemade which offers Japanese antique designs for people at low rates to preserve the tradition. The result of their efforts were that a product came out which had both Japanese Cypress and a limited edition Japanese cedar and a 20000 year old patina. This product was presented at Maison et Objet 2013 in paries.
