A Graphics expert, Brian Maffitt has recently used a video projector to capture snowfall. The recent storm Nemo has presented him with the opportunity. When the opportunity came by, he pointed the projector and took some photos with it. Unique settings enabled him to get some great photos of trails of snow.
The Children’s movie Lorax was composed of vibrant colors so that was Maffitt’s choice and then the snow started to fall. He used the projector to transform into flowing dots then. The image of the cinema was nowhere to be found. He used Cannon 7D to take time and long exposure photographs of light moving. His captured photographs transformed into paintings of light and they showed the path of little snow flakes in the night.
