Running through the heart of the Berlin by way of Brandenburg and Saxony into the Czech Republic is this 250-mile long Spree River. The Berlin portion of the river is right past the Museum that is considered as the most popular Tourist destination.
According to the developers converting the Berlin part of the river into an Olympic-sized pools would increase the inner city livings and will also provide a source of recreation. This public swimming venue called Flussbad (or “river bath”) has a natural filtration system that will maintain the cleanliness via a dense reed bed. The only thing that the developers has to introduce is wide stairs in place of quay so as to double the resting place for the people who just want to soak into water, and not swim.
